Show your support by forming a team for the Friendship Walk and Games at University of Maryland, College Park. Together with our family and friends, we will walk proudly in support of ending social isolation for Marylanders with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After the walk, enjoy our traditional carnival style party with lunch, games and entertainers.

We kicked off Best Buddies Month with our annual red carpet celebration, the Best of Maryland Awards (BMA’s) in HowardCounty. Best Buddies participants and their families from across the state enjoyed an exciting awards show as we honored outstanding buddy pairs, leaders, and chapters. We wrapped up the afternoon with a festive “after party” with deejay, desserts, and raffle prizes.

January 7, 2010 Best Buddies Mo Co Alumni Event: School Spirit Supper Rockville, Maryland
Best Buddies participants and alums from Montgomery County gathered at Armand's Chicago Pizzaria in Rockville. Armand's supported BBMD by donating a percentage of sales. Most importantly, this event allowed MoCo current members, graduated members, and Citizens participants to come together as a region and reconnect after the holidays. For this college themed event, guests wore something from a school they went to, currently attend, will be going to next year, or just really like!
